FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Not currently, we do not have a walk-in store but operate from our licensed home-based kitchen in Cranbourne East, where we do pickups or provide delivery services. Our kitchen is registered with the Casey Council with a certified food supervisor present at all times making sure your cakes are safely handled.
Sorry to disappoint, but no 😕 We do not keep any cakes in stock and always bake everything on order. Not only do we believe in quality ingredients, but we also believe that our cakes taste the best when freshly-baked 😀
As a small business, we have a limited number of cakes we can complete per week. For custom cakes, we recommend ordering as early as possible:
At least 2 weeks in advance for single tier and 4 weeks for multi-tier cakes.
For small cakes and pastries, we recommend at least 3 - 5 days notice.
However we understand that last minute parties or cravings might pop up! So please do ask anyway! We will try our best to accommodate short-notice orders when we can 😄.
Send us a message on Facebook, email or phone and let us know the following:
- date required?
- design? (you can describe what you had in mind or send us pictures of colours/features/models that you like)
- how many serves are you after?
- any message, name or inscription on the cake?
- if you prefer picking up or require delivery options (with address if applicable)
We accept payment through bank transfer or cash on pickup/delivery (no credit cards). In order to confirm your order, we request a 50% non-refundable deposit into our bank account to secure your booking. The balance can be paid cash on pickup/delivery or through bank transfer.
Your cake will be packaged and ready for a safe drive home. Cakes should go flat on the floor or in the boot of your car (not on laps or on slanted seats). We highly recommend taking advantage of our delivery options to ensure the safety of your cake (delivery fees may apply).
We take great care in preparing your cake to be sturdy for transport, however we do not take responsibility for any damage during transit should you choose to pick up your cake. (Read more on how to transport your cake from our blog)
Yes, we always recommend taking advantage of our delivery services to ensure safe transport of your cakes to your venue. Delivery fees may apply depending on your order size and location. Feel free to provide us with the delivery address to get a quote.
Fondant decorated cakes should not be refrigerated. They are best kept in their box, stored in a cool spot away from direct sunlight, air conditioning is ideal. If your cake requires refrigeration, we will specify this on your cake box (and it will feel cold when you receive it 😝)
All our cakes are baked especially for your day. Your cake should last for around 3 days on the counter (if you can resist from eating it before then 😝). We never freeze your cake so that you are able to store any leftovers safely in the freezer. To do so, wrap it in cling wrap then aluminium foil. Your cake should then last for a very very long time 😄
When you feel like cake, allow it to thaw for 2 to 4 hours and it will taste as good as fresh.
Yes we can, but we cannot guarantee 100% that cross-contamination will not occur since (as you already know) we handle dairy, eggs, nuts and gluten ingredients.
Please discuss any allergies and dietary restrictions with us when placing your order.
Yes, we can wrap your sugar biscuits or napolitaines individually for an additional packaging fee. This is ideal for gifts and favours for your party or event.
